Summer camps for students
A base camp in the orchards and deodar forest at Shuru, across the Beas from Manali — the first night in a tent, the first climb on rock, the first river crossing on a rope, with friends.

Summer camps for students
Shuru is a quiet village on the left bank of the Beas, between Prini and Jagatsukh, with apple orchards below and deodar forest above. Our base camp there is a safe, gentle place for a student's first real outdoor experience: the group lives in tents, eats together, and spends each day on a different skill — walking in the forest, climbing a boulder, crossing a stream on a rope, pitching a tent, reading a map, cooking a camp meal. Evenings are for games, a campfire and the stars.

Every activity runs with an instructor and the right gear; the camp has a first-aid kit, a vehicle on call and a plan for weather. Teachers get the day's plan each morning.
How it runs
We set the final plan with you.
Day 1
Pick-up in Manali, the short drive across the Beas, tents allotted, a safety briefing and a first walk around the village.

Day 2
Bouldering, climbing and rappelling on natural rock — harnessed, roped and coached.

Day 3
Rope river-crossing, knots, and a forest walk with a lesson in the trees, birds and plants of the valley.

Day 4
A longer walk up into the forest above Shuru, packed lunch on a ridge, back to camp for the last campfire.

Day 5
Camp packed, a certificate for every student, drop to Manali.
